Healthy Moms, Healthy Babies II: Information for Somali Families During and After Pregnancy

Somali viewers learn about topics like child spacing, breastfeeding, nutrition and exercise, and demystifying C-sections. Health practitioners gain sensitivity to Somali cultural concerns about childbirth practices.

The DVD features local Somali actors and is presented in Somali with English subtitles. The movie frames these health topics within the stories of several young Somali couples’ experiences giving birth and raising families in the Unites States.
