In 2000, WellShare transferred its lessons learned from years of international health programming to work with the burgeoning immigrant and refugee community in Minnesota.  Since then, WellShare’s domestic health programs have gained national recognition as a model of innovative culturally appropriate health promotion.

In Minnesota, WellShare has created several programs addressing Somali immigrant and refugee health.

Throughout the United States, WellShare’s health education materials have been distributed in over 18 states.
